WHO AM I?
I'm Neal. That's me down there! You can hover or tap on each of the tiles below to find out a little bit more about me.
You've probably already worked it out by now, but I'm a freelance Web Designer and Developer from Kent. Before becoming a Web Designer, I was a Payroll Manager, but I never really enjoyed it and always felt like I was in the wrong career. About five years ago I took the decision to change my career and I haven't looked back since. I enrolled on a course that taught me the basics of coding and developing websites and then I started off building small, simple websites for friends and colleagues, as well as taking other courses in my spare time to expand my knowledge. As my skills grew, I began building bigger and more complex websites.
In 2015 I was approached by an award-winning design and branding agency in Kent called Open Water. They offered me the opportunity to join their Web Production team and I was delighted to accept. I've been freelancing for them on a regular basis ever since. You can view my profile on their website here and if you would like to see the projects I've worked on with them, check out the Uniware project and the Northfleet School for Girls project. I was also involved in building their own website.
As well as my work with Open Water, I also freelance individually. You can view my recent projects on my Portfolio page. I'm interested in all kinds of projects, from small, simple one-off websites, to larger projects that are too big for one developer and require collaboration with other people. I have my own network of colleagues that I have built up, including an award-winning freelance designer, a branding expert and a graphic designer/artist, so if your project is big, I can handle it.
If you are interested in discussing your project with me, please feel free to get in touch.
